Buy one, give one shoe event in Lubbock

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - Folks used trendy shoes to stand for a cause they believe in Saturday. At Chrome's second annual live music festival, Lubbock residents painted and styled their own Toms brand shoes to give to those in need.

Organizers say the event puts a new twist on buy one get one free.  For every pair of shoes purchased, Toms shoes donates a pair to a child who doesn't have shoes somewhere in the world.
