AT&T employees continue working without contract - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - Local AT&T workers continue to work without a contract. The current contract expired at midnight on Saturday night. David Pattin with Communication Workers of America says AT&T and CWA have agreed to continue negotiations with the hopes they can reach an agreement.

The sticking point is health care. AT&T says they're looking at different health care plans which would require employees to pay more. Earlier this week, workers sent their message through an informational picket line. If both sides cannot work out their differences, line workers from five states could strike.
