Loved ones speak out about victim in fatal rollover

Lubbock, TX (KCBD) - Loved ones are speaking out after a fatal rollover in East Lubbock this weekend. Police say 32-year-old Rudy Palos lost control of his Ford Expedition around 2:15 Saturday morning near East 42nd and Magnolia. He was thrown from the vehicle.

His girlfriend - who was with him Friday night, said he was a kind hearted person. "You would be sad and he would pick you up with a smile on his face he was a good person," Melissa Sosa says. Police believe alcohol was a factor in this accident.

The family is accepting donations for a memorial fund at any branch of First Convenience Bank.
