Work calls for four-way stop at FM 1585 and South University Avenue

LUBBOCK, TEXAS (KCBD) - The Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) will temporary convert the signalized intersection at FM 1585 and south University Avenue to a four-way stop condition as part of a project to upgrade the intersection with steel signal poles.

TxDOT will temporarily convert the intersection to a four-way stop, beginning Monday, April 6.

Motorists traveling through the intersection can expect the four-way stop condition for approximately two weeks and are advised to use caution and keep the new stop conditions in mind when traveling through the area.

Work will take place weather permitting.
