LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - It looks as though the national economy is finally having some affect on the Hub City.
On Tuesday, the Lubbock National Bank and the Lubbock Economic Development Alliance (LEDA) released the Lubbock Economic Index for February. According to the numbers, the L.E.I. has declined for five consecutive months. "I think we are seeing on the economy as a whole is a trickle down from the national economic situation and really an overall pull back in the economy in selected areas," said James Arnold, of Lubbock National Bank.
