Cooper High dedicates Kelsey Vines Memorial

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - A new addition was made to the Cooper High School campus Tuesday.

Tuesday afternoon, family, friends, and classmates of Kelsey Vines, a senior who died in a car accident in September, dedicated a campus memorial garden in her honor.

Kelsey's twin sister Kayla, who survived the accident, built a memorial garden to commemorate her sister's life as her senior project. Kayla says Tuesday is their birthday so it's appropriate to dedicate it now.

We'll hear from the Vines family on what this memorial means to them, on NewsChannel 11 at 10.
