Experience Life's 2nd Annual Easter Egg Drop scheduled

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - 50,000 easter eggs will be dropped from a helicopter Friday, April 10th at 5 p.m. onto Lowrey Field to kick off an Easter celebration.

Last year Experience Life dropped 5,000 easter eggs out of a helicopter for kids to run and grab.

Live music, food, inflatables, prizes and many other fun activites are available for everyone to enjoy. The event is open to the public and everything is free.

    A man who lives south of Klondike, TX is recovering in a Lubbock hospital after being bitten by a deadly Mojave rattlesnake on Sunday. According to the Lamesa Press-Reporter, 53-year-old Milton Richards tried to kill the snake in his backyard around 9 p.m.
