Lubbock sisters donate birthday gifts to Humane Society of West Texas - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - Two Lubbock sisters did a very selfless thing, to the benefit of four-legged friends across the South Plains. 

Abigail and Kate Lokey recently celebrated their birthdays, and instead of accepting gifts.  The girls collected donations for the Humane Society of West Texas. They made a presentation Saturday at the PetSmart in Canyon West shopping center. In appreciation, the Humane Society celebrated their good deeds, with cake and balloons.

In all, Abigail and Kate raised $300 to aid in the treatment and care of orphaned animals.
