Brian Lee Is Out of the Today Show Superstar Contest

After singing four songs in front of millions over the last few weeks, 29-year-old Brian Lee of Lubbock is no longer in the running to be the "Today Show Superstar."

Bian Lee graciously walked away after weeks of what, he said was an experience of a lifetime. Lee now lives in Granbury with his wife and two daughters, he says this contest has put him in touch with many old friends and opened the door to future opportunities.

"I had a real peace about the whole thing, I was just so glad to be a part of it and I got to do some amazing things that most people don't get to do, and I have no regrets. I think my family's more sad than I am," said Brian Lee.

Lee said he would keep NewsChannel 11 posted on the opportunities ahead for him. He said the support has been awesome, and on Monday there were some people on the plaza with signs that said "Lubbock loves Brian."
