Former Hale County District Attorney injured in truck - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - Former Hale County District Attorney, Terry McEachern is recovering, following a one-car rollover in Plainview Friday morning. McEachern's truck veered south off the roadway in the 3800 block of Dimmitt Road.

McEachern, now a defense attorney, was on his way to court to defend a Hale County Commissioner accused of stealing gasoline. It is not known what impact McEachern's crash will have on the commissioner's trial.

As of Monday evening McEachern was listed in critical condition at Covenant Medical Center in Lubbock.  Plainview police say they don't know the cause of the accident, but there is no evidence of drugs or alcohol.
