LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - Tuesday marks day two of the Cody Ramirez trial.
Jury selection began Monday for 19-year-old Cody Ramirez, who is accused of shooting at Lubbock Police during a violent robbery. He was 16-years-old in December 2006 when he and an accomplice allegedly robbed Texas Games on the 1600 block of 19th Street.
Ramirez reportedly fired at officers during a foot chase after the robbery. Although he was a minor at the time, Ramirez will be tried as an adult.
Extra security has been placed at the courthouse for Tuesday's proceedings.
