Man arrested after hour and half chase across three counties

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - It took more than an hour and half and law enforcement from multiple agencies to end a car chase that spanned across three counties Sunday night.

We're told the chase started when a witness contacted the Lubbock County Sheriff's Department to report a man who was exposing himself in his car in the parking lot of Fantasy Theatre located off the Slaton Highway.

The chase started at Buffalo Lakes around 8:30 p.m., went into Crosby County and finally ended in Dickens County just before 10 p.m.

Law enforcement from Lubbock County, Crosby County, Dickens County and DPS responded to the chase.

Authorities used spike strips two separate times in an attempt to catch the suspect.

We know the driver finally stopped when his two front wheels came off his vehicle.
