LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - Millions of fitness balls are under recall due to risk of explosion. The Consumer Product Safety Commission says you could suddenly fall to the floor if you are on one when it pops.
The fitness balls in question were distributed by EB Brands, made in China, and were sold between May of 2000 and February of 2009. They are sold under the names Bally, Total Fitness, Everlast, Valeo, and Body Fit. Concerned consumers can return the balls to the place of purchase or go to the EB Brands website for updated instructions on how to safely inflate the ball.
