Council to discuss visitor kiosks

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - On Monday, the issue of visitor kiosks for the Hub City goes back on the table. The Lubbock Economic Development Alliance will provide members of the Lubbock City Council with an updated study of kiosks at Monday's council meeting.

Lubbock City Councilman Todd Klein is working with city staff to gather additional information. Earlier this week, city staff released a request for information regarding the practicality, feasibility, associated costs and benefits of putting kiosks throughout Lubbock. The kiosks would have flat panel displays with tickers, and would provide visitors with key information about the Hub City.
