LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - At 4:25 p.m. Wednesday the Lubbock County Sheriff's Office indicated that an emergency response had been called off for a report of a fire and possible explosion to the southwest of Lubbock.
The original report came in just before 4 p.m. and smoke could be seen for several miles, but firefighters in the area of Woodrow and Upland discovered it was a controlled burn.
