kcbd.com virtual job fair open for job seekers

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - On Thursday you can look for a job from the comfort of your own home because NewsChannel 11 is hosting a virtual on-line job fair on KCBD.com.

With an easy click of your mouse, you can browse dozens of jobs at KCBD.com's virtual job fair Thursday and Friday. "Anything from drivers to administrative to medical field," says Dan Jackson, NewsChannel 11 General Manager.

About 80 jobs are listed on the sight. Employers say the format is very accessible because you can log on anywhere. "This is real easy for us. It's easy for the employees to go online. They don't have to get up and go some place. We'll have access to it throughout the day," says Pierce Adams from ITS QUEST INC.

To access KCBD.com's virtual job fair, first you will go to KCBD.com and click where it says jobs towards the top of the page. 27 new employers signed up for the job fair, so there are more jobs than ever online. Scroll over the businesses logos to see their contact information. Then click on a company to see their job openings.

You can apply to each job individually, or create an account to store your resume on the site.

The virtual job fair also has videos from several of the employers to tell you more about their company. "There are a lot of opportunities and jobs available in this community, and we need to make sure that people in this community, we're putting them back to work and helping them find jobs," says Jackson.

These jobs are open now, and the companies are ready to fill openings, all you have to do is  click here.
