LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - About 96,000 cribs are subject to a nation wide recall. The Consumer Product Safety Commission is recalling seven types of cribs made by Jardine Cribs.
The CPSC says the wood slats on these cribs can break, creating improper gaps that cause injuries to babies. It's the third recall for this Taiwanese company in less than a year, now totaling nearly half a million cribs. The Jardine cribs were sold at Toys ‘R' Us, Babies ‘R' Us, KidsWorld, and Geoffrey stores from September 2005 through April 2009.
