Lubbock celebrated Dia De Los Ninos - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - Many cities Thursday including Lubbock celebrated Dia De Los Ninos or day of the children. The Lubbock celebration was at the Optimist Boys and Girls Club.

Kids were given free books, a chance to make their own bookmarks and finger print I.D. Cards. There was also entertainment. And whole thing was free. The idea is to promote good health and literacy.
