LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - Lubbock is among the 15 best metros in America for the least unemployment. An Associated Press report indicates that 18 metropolitan areas in the U.S. suffer unemployment in excess of 15 percent.

Lubbock and 14 other metros have 5% or less unemployment. The most recent numbers from the Texas Workforce Commission indicate that Lubbock's unemployment rate was 4.4 %.
