Abilene soldier back from Iraq dies

ABILENE, TX (KCBD) - A West Texas soldier dies after becoming ill in Iraq.   

Army Sergeant Christopher Loza died on April 10th but his death was only made public by the Department of Defense this weekend. 

The 24-year-old Abilene soldier got sick from what the defense department calls a "non-combat related illness".  Loza first got sick on March 17th according to the Defense Department.
