Spend the winter semester learning about your municipal government. The City of Lubbock is offering a ten-session course entitled City of Lubbock Citizens University. The purpose of the course is to promote an understanding and awareness of the city’s structure and services, and to explore the roles that citizens and the city organization have in maintaining an effective municipal government.
The class will be limited to 25 participants, and class members will be selected by a review panel composed of both City and community members. Selection will be based on the strength of the application, civic leadership potential, and diversity of the applicants.
No classes on January 30, February 20, March 13 (Spring Break) or April 3
