LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) A 21-year-old Lubbock man will spend the next 50 years behind bars after holding a teenager hostage inside her home during a robbery. A Lubbock jury found Rene Longoria guilty of Aggravated Robbery.

He broke into a home in the 1100 block of 83rd Street in March of 2008. Investigators say he tied up an 18-year-old girl there and tried to force her to perform a sexual act on him while two other men took items from the house. For that, the jury sentenced Longoria to 50 years in prison Wednesday.
