Titus Adams' father says the seven year-old Colorado boy "saved his Mom's life." Titus and his two sisters, ages one and four, were in their pajamas when the truck driven by their mother ran off the road and rolled five times on Thanksgiving Day.
Tammy Hill was thrown from the truck and injured, unable to help the kids. So Titus checked his sisters, who were still in their child safety seats, and climbed out of the truck. He walked about a half mile in 23 degree weather to get help.Hill is in hospitalized in critical condition with a broken neck, back and other injuries. Paramedics say she might not have lived had Titus waited for help instead of going out on his own. Copyright 2002 Associated Press. All rights reserved.
