City considers paying for water damage in home

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - City council considers paying back a woman for water damage in her home.   The claim is for 78-thousand dollars worth of damage.  

The woman says she requested that the water be turned off in her home while she was gone for three months. While she was away the water was not turned off according to the claim, the pipes froze and burst.
