Groundbreaking takes place Tuesday for Texas Tech expansion

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - The Texas Tech Alumni Association broke ground on a new addition Tuesday. 

The Peggy and Bill Dean Expansion to the Merket Alumni Center will nearly double the present size of the Alumni Center, and is expected to be completed in spring 2010. The center was first built in 1995 as an addition to the original University President's home.
