Lubbock's Peggy Sue to open a diner, but where?

LUBBOCK TX, (KCBD) - Lubbock's own Peggy Sue (the woman who inspired Buddy Holly's smash hit song "Peggy Sue") wants to start a diner.  But this is not in Lubbock nor in the USA.  It's in York, England.

According to the Yorkshire Post, residents there were surprised and excited to find out *the* Peggy Sue came calling on their town.  Her diner's exact location is not yet set according the Post.  But that didnt' stop her from becoming something of sensation on the streets of York.

And she shared stories of Lubbock with the Brits, including the moment she met Buddy Holly at Lubbock High.

Here's a link to the story and the video by the Yorkshire Post.  Click here
