Flooding Closes Lights in the Canyon

Severe rainfall flooded the tour route of the annual Lights in the Canyon festival event. Executive Director Stephanie Allison said the decision to close was made late in the afternoon after water levels rose so high as to completely engulf fuse boxes.

Event officials are hopeful that the park will be able to open Wednesday. Call Stephanie Allison at (806) 749-2929 to confirm park hours.
