LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - A new trend has doctors in a quandry.
More and more people are inking themselves with medical tattoos to identify a health problem like diabetes in case they become unconscious and can't explain to first responders.
That's on the agenda in Houston Friday at a meeting of the American Association of Endocrinologists. Permanently wearing vital information sounds like a life-saver, but the doctors will look into it to see if they should endorse or discourage medical tattoos.
