Valedictorian of the Tahoka High School Class of 2015 is Jeremiah DeLeon, with a GPA of 4.3946. Jeremiah is the son of Jesus and Melanie Moya. He has been a member of Varsity football, Powerlifting, and Varsity Track. Jeremiah was class president from 2011 to 2014 and is the current Co-Senior Class President. He has been a member of the Tahoka High School 3-D Band since 2011. He is the current Secretary of the THS National Honor Society. He has participated in the Academic UIL events of Math, Science and Number Sense.
Jeremiah has several accomplishments and awards.
He advanced to State UIL Marching competition with the THS 3-D Marching Band in 2011
He was a State Qualifier in Powerlifting for 2014 and a
Regional Qualifier in Powerlifting from 2012 through 2015
He also achieved Academic Elite All-State Football in 2014
After graduation, Jeremiah will attend Texas Tech University, majoring in Mechanical Engineering.
