The Valedictorian of the Class of 2012 is Zachariah Wayne Garcia with a GPA of 4.4584. Zach is the son of David and Susie Garcia. While in high school, Zach has been a member of the Tahoka 3-D Band, has participated in UIL Academics in Math, Accounting, Calculator Applications and Number Sense. He has also participated in Varsity Football, Baseball, Basketball, and Tennis. Zach is a member of National Honor Society, where he has served as president this year; he is a Student Council Representative and is also president of his senior class.
After graduation, Zach will attend the University of Texas in Austin, where he will study in the McCombs School of Business and major in a business field.
