Michael Gomez attend Sands High School. He will be attending Angelo State University where he plans on majoring in Kinesiology, and pursuing an occupation in Physical Therapy. When it comes to grades, sports, or anything he's involved with, his family has always been there to push him and make sure he was on the right path. His mother is a single parent who has had to overcome a great deal of adversity in order to provide for him and his 9 year old sibling. If it wasn't for her and his family he wouldn't be where he am today. He is salutatorian of his class, vice president of his NHS committee, and he is an All- District TSMCA/TABC Academic All-State basketball player. He is also a first team All-state football player, playing in three All-star games, which includes one in Canada. He has been awarded All State in football since his sophomore year. He has also been successful when it comes to golf, tennis, track, UIL, FFA and OAP.
