Two burglary suspects are arrested, one remains on the loose

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - Lubbock Police are searching for a burglary suspect. 

A police officer spotted a suspect loading stolen items into a car Thursday afternoon in the 5200 block of 40th Street. He immediately ran southbound and eluded police. Two suspects, Melynda Axtel and Johnnie Ross, were arrested at the scene.

But the search continues for the first suspect. He is described as a slender black man, about 6'0" tall, with a light complexion. He is about 20 years old, and was last seen wearing a white tank top and blue knee-length shorts.
