LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - A Texas man has become the third person in Texas to die from complications of swine flu. Thirty-three year old Carlos Garnica died May 6th in Corpus Christi. Garnica was a single father of three and one of his children was also treated for the swine flu but is recovering. Garnica apparently had some pre-existing health conditions, including heart trouble and morbid obesity, which made the flu more difficult to treat.
