Raymond Rios is the Valedictorian for the EHS class of 2012. His final grade point average is 4.48. Raymond plans to attend either Texas Tech or West Texas A & M University in Canyon. His honors include Honor Roll, Teen of the Month, UIL Scholar Award, Outstanding Merit Award for AP English IV and President's Education Award. He has been involved in Football, Wrestling, Track, engineering, Student Council, National Honor Society and Spanish Club. He was named Football All District and Football Academic All State. He was district champion in Wrestling for four years and qualified for State. He was District and Regional Champion three years in Track and qualified for State. He was also voted Mr. EHS by the student body. Raymond's parents are Carlos and Nancy Rios of Lubbock.
