Alajandra Munoz

Alejandra is the daughter of Jesse and Diana Munoz and attended Kress schools for 13 years. She plans to attend West Texas A@M University and major in Agribusiness. Alejandra has played varsity basketball all4 years of high school. Alejandra received 1st team All-district her freshman and junior year and 2nd team All-district her sophomore and senior year. She received Outstanding Player Award her freshman year and the Hustle Award bother sophomore and Junior year. Alejandra also participated in track for three years and was a Kress Varsity Cheerleader her junior and senior year. Alejandra has been a member in the Kress FFA Chapter all 4 years of high school. She has competed in Creed Speaking, Radio and Live Stock Judging. Alejandra has been a 4-H member and has held offices of second vice president her freshman year, reporter her sophomore year, president her junior year, and secretary her senior year. She has shown swine and goats all four years. Within these four years she has won numerous breed champions, reserve breed champions, and showmanship belts buckles with both swine and goats. Alejandra has also served as county council treasure her junior year. She was inducted into National Honor Society her sophomore year; received her academic blanket her freshman year and academic patches all 4 years. Alejandra was Student Council secretary her junior year and is now president her senior year. She has been president of her class her sophomore through senior year. Alejandra has been a member of Technology Student Association all four years of high school. She received regionals her sophomore and junior year and received best in state her sophomore through senior year. She was chosen by Plainview Daily Herald for the Tomorrow's Leaders Award her junior year. Alejandra was nominated Homecoming Queen this year. She won Swisher Electric Cooperative's Youth Tour to Washington D.C her sophomore year. Her senior year she was a member of TAFE. Alejandra competed in U.I.L her sophomore and junior year. She has received countless subject awards and obtained citizenship awards all four year. Alejandra is an active member if New Life Church in Plainview.
