Construction worker injured by Lubbock motorist

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - A construction worker is recovering after he was hit by a truck. The accident occurred just after 8:00 a.m., at the intersection of 82nd Street and Winston.

The man is with a paving company based out of San Antonio. His foreman, Orlando Vargas, says they will continue patching operations, for the next three weeks or so. Therefore, Vargas would like to remind all drivers to please slow down in those construction zones.
