Authorities capture Silverio Ruiz - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

PLAINVIEW, TX (KCBD) - A Hale County fugitive was behind bars Tuesday night, less than 24-hours after we profiled his case on NewsChannel 11's Most Wanted.  We received word from the Hale County Sheriff's Office Warrants Division that Silverio Ruiz, 22 turned himself late Tuesday afternoon.

Ruiz was wanted for a probation violation on hindering a secured creditor between $1,500 and $20,000. Authorities tell us they tried to follow up several leads on his whereabouts last week, but Ruiz kept hiding.

Ruiz is the 42nd suspect to move to NewsChannel 11's Captured Wall. Your call could move our next most wanted suspect.
