Source: Terry Co. SheriffLUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - A Terry County grand jury has indicted a 21-year-old with attempted capital murder.
Authorities arrested Johnny Lee Garcia in March after they say he broke into a home near Brownfield. Investigators say Garcia thought the home was unoccupied at the time. Authorities say when the 64-year-old resident confronted Garcia - he assaulted her and stabbed her repeatedly.
Garcia is also indicted for burglary of a habitation with intent to commit sexual assault and burglary of a habitation with intent to commit theft.
