Manpower survey shows Lubbock tied for 11th best hiring

By James Clark | email

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - We already know Lubbock is one of the best places for job security. But now Manpower Inc. says its forecast shows it will get even better. The company says Lubbock is tied for the 11th best employment outlook nationwide. That's out of 200 or more cities surveyed.

The company asked employers if they'll be hiring or cutting back.  When you add up the new jobs, and subtract all the cutbacks, Manpower says Lubbock's overall outlook is forecast at a plus 11 percent.   Many cities in the manpower survey are looking at negative numbers.
