Lubbock Symphony Orchestra Celebrates the Joy of the Season

The Lubbock Symphony Orchestra presents the Holiday Pops Concert beginning at 7 p.m. on December 7th at First Baptist Church, located at 2201 Broadway. The concert features performances with the Lubbock Chorale and First Baptist Church's Kids of the Kingdom.

Musical selections for the concert include a variety of Christmas classics. "Winter Wonderland," "Carol of the Bells," "The Twelve Days of Christmas," and "O, Come All Ye Faithful," are just a few of the holiday songs to be performed at the concert.

The theme for the Lubbock Symphony Orchestra 2002-2003 concert season is "Celebration of Community." The Holiday Pops concert provides an opportunity for the entire family to celebrate the joy of the season by including popular Christmas musical selections.

The Lubbock symphony Orchestra is led by Andrews Sill, the Lubbock Chorale is led by John Dickson, and the Kids of the Kingdom Choir is led by Mrs. Missy Pirkle and Mrs. Teresa Henderson.

Tickets for the Holiday Pops concert are $20 for adults, $15 for students and $10 for children under 12.
