New details in previous Robinson assault

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - We've uncovered new details about the assault that had Tyrone Robinson, 31 in custody Thursday night.  It's for an incident that happened February 3rd of this year.

The affidavit states the crime started with a dispute at an apartment in the 6500 Block of Avenue T.  The victim says he left, but was followed by a suspect in a white Suburban. The victim says the driver of that suburban struck his vehicle several times as they drove up Avenue T.

He then says the suspect drove up beside his driver's side window and opened fire. Authorities say the victim suffered three gun shot wounds, one to the side of his head, one on his cheek, and one on his triceps.  Further investigation revealed Robinson as a suspect in this case, and again, that's what he was being held on Thursday night, not the three recent homicides. Nevertheless, he's off NewsChannel 11's Most Wanted Wall, and on the captured wall.
