LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - Lubbock Police detectives hope an Aggravated Assault suspect will provide answers in a string of deadly shootings. Tyrone Robinson, 31, turned himself in to authorities late Thursday morning, arriving alone at the Lubbock Police Department.
Robinson is charged with Aggravated Assault for a shooting in February. He's held on 500 thousand dollars bond.
Authorities have not released why the need to question him about the most recent shootings, but the warrant issued for Robinson Wednesday, shows authorities also questioned another man about this month's shootings. In the affidavit, the investigator asks that man what he had heard about other shootings in Lubbock. The man answered that he heard rumors that Tyrone was doing all of the shooting.
Robinson has not been named as a suspect in the recent shootings. Right now, he is only been questioned.
