Motorcyclist killed in Friday accident - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - A late night accident in east Lubbock County claims the life of a motorcyclist.  Investigators with the Department of Public Safety had not yet released the name of the victim Saturday evening.

The crash happened around 9:15 p.m. Friday at F.M. 1729 and County Road 6500.  DPS reports the motorcycle was southbound on 1729 when it collided with a SUV turning onto C.R. 6500. The motorcyclist died. Two people in the SUV suffered minor injuries.
