Lubbockites honor service men & women

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - Monday morning, people honored our military men and women at the City of Lubbock Cemetery.  The Nancy Anderson Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution hosted Lubbock's 7th Annual Memorial Day Service.

Speakers asked those in attendance to never forget the sacrifices others have made for our freedoms.  "I'm telling you folks, I hope we never forget, because that would be the greatest injustice to forget what people have done for us," District Judge Sam Medina said.

The American Legion provided flags, and local scouts placed them on the grave sites of more than 2,000 veterans buried there.

Though the full scope of the investigation is not clear, the information requests make evident at least some of the areas that Mueller and his team of prosecutors intend to look into and also reveal a strong interest in certain of Trump's actions as president.
