Jones AT&T Stadium expansion update

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - We have a quick update on the expansion of Jones AT&T Stadium.

Workers are building new light stands. The old light stands have to be demolished to make way for the expansion.

Around 10 days ago, the new lights were prepared for installation and then workers raised them up onto the new towers.

As recently as three days ago, workers turned on the lights. The first time these lights are turned on they have to stay on for an extended period. The process is called "burn in."

Work will start in the coming weeks on new luxury suites on the East to match the ones on the West.
