Woman burned after rushing into burning barn

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - A Lynn County woman is severely burned after a barn fire. Authorities say she ran into a burning barn to try to save a vehicle from the fire. 

The woman suffered 1st degree burns on her neck and face. She also has 2nd and 3rd degree burns on both of her arms.  She called 911 just after 7:30 Monday evening. 

The Lynn County Sheriff's Department says this fire occured along highway 380 east of Tahoka.
