Lubbock County to Pay $38,000 Refund - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

Lubbock County will pay two city bail bond companies a total of more than $38,000. The commissioners agreed in court on Monday to refund a processing fee the companies had agreed to pay the county.

Commissioner James Kitten says the Texas Supreme Court ruled that fee unconstitutional. So now, Trammel Bail Bond will be refunded more than $36,300. All State Bail Bond will get more than $1,800.
