Councilman looking for volunteers to take children - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - City Councilman Floyd Price is looking for adoptive parents for minority children.   

Price will hold a town hall meeting Monday evening to inform citizens about the need for families to become involved in adoptions and foster care. Price says in a written statement that minority children are particularly in need of adoptive parents. 

The town hall meeting will be in the Mae Simmons Center, 2004 Oak Avenue at 6:30 pm.
