Two new trouble spots for Lubbock motorists Monday morning - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - Motorist, beware of water main replacements along 33rd Street.

Starting Monday morning all vehicles need to be off of 33rd Street between Canton and Boston Avenues. Drivers will see this section of street blockaded during daylight hours. If you need special accommodations to move your car please call Utility Contractors of America at 866-9380.

Motorist should also beware of a Slide Road closure starting Monday. As part of the Northwest Passage project, Slide Road between 4th Street and 2nd Street will be closed. The city says in a written statement that access to alternate routes to this portion of Slide road will be provided.
