Texas Tech to host wind farm conference

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - Do windfarms hurt wildlife?  That's one of many the questions Texas Tech hopes to answer at a wind farm conference this month.

Right now the world's largest wind farm is only a two hour drive from Lubbock, near Abilene.   Billionaire T. Boone Pickens plans a much larger wind farm near Amarillo.
