LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - Citizens of District 2 are able to attend a Town Hall meeting Monday, June 1st to find out how to become involved in adoptions and fostercare.
The meeting will be held at the Mae Simmons Community center at 6:30 p.m. at 2004 Oak Avenue.
District 2 City Councilmember Floyd Price and representatives from Children's Home of Lubbock, Child Protective Services, Lutheran Social Services, Methodist Children's Home, Buckner Children and Family Services, and the Bair Foundation will be at the meeting to provide information to citizens and discuss the benefits of adoption and becoming a foster parent.
